Our Approach

Our diverse team of professionals brings a range of comprehensive skills to our practice, and are specifically trained in sex therapy and sexual health. We can work collaboratively with other health care professionals, and/or independently to develop opportunities for each request.  Considering the whole person, we view sex as a holistic idea, and understand the importance of our sexual selves at all ages.  We are trained to work with families and supports to help you explore your needs, and are a trans/binary inclusive space.

Our Story

We believe that sex is an important part of everyday life at all ages.  We appreciate that many things around sex are highly sought after, yet misunderstood and remain taboo. We wanted to create space for something different, a place where ideas about sex can be explored.

Meet the Team

Lisa Klčo

Clinical Counsellor | CD, BA (Hons), BSW, MSW, MCAP, RSW, RCC, PhD(c)

What do you really want to know about Lisa? She loves cycling, hot yoga, coffee, is a total research geek and an enthusiastic educator. Most of all she is passionate about helping others.

Lisa has comprehensive clinical training in the fields of sexual health, sex therapy, addictions, mental health, and trauma. With a focus on how depressive and anxiety symptoms affect physical responses to sexual health, she often brings this lens to her client practice, and is one of a few practitioners who has training in ISTDP for BC.

As boring as all of her experience sounds, Lisa is actually quite fun, and really great at teaching classes. She has many years of experience working with diverse populations including LGBTQ2+ communities. She believes in providing a safe, sex positive atmosphere for everyone.

A devout educator, Lisa is also one of a few Stewards of the Children (SOTC) facilitators available in BC. She is available (upon request) to teach this valuable program. SOTC is an adult training program intended for childcare professionals, to help them raise awareness and understand how to prevent childhood sexual abuse.
